Alex Garcia is a 6’5″ guard from Santa Fe, New Mexico, who concluded his collegiate career as a graduate student at Cal State Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). Known for his high basketball IQ, leadership, and two-way versatility, Garcia played a pivotal role in CSUDH’s run to the NCAA Division II Championship Game. His ability to perform under pressure was exemplified when he made a crucial three-pointer in the final seconds of regulation to tie the score at 76-76 and send the game into overtime during the tournament.  Offensively, Garcia is a very reliable perimeter shooter with a smooth release, capable of stretching the floor and creating space for his teammates. He demonstrates composure and confidence in clutch situations, often taking and making critical shots when the game is on the line. Defensively, his lateral quickness and anticipation allow him to guard multiple positions effectively, contributing to his team’s defensive schemes. Garcia’s combination of shooting proficiency, defensive acumen, and leadership qualities make him a valuable asset in competitive basketball environments.
